Sampled from a 24 oz. crowler filled just an hour or two before.
Light toasty amber tone, bright clarity, compact head of foam with spotty lacing.
Aroma of toasted bread crusts, light grains, multigrain bread dough.
Taste follows, bread crusts, bready malt base, very restrained sweetness, dry finish.
Lighter side of medium bodied, supple carb, great feel, like a warm blanket.
This was really great! Will seek out again next year, and hope they do a Festbier too...
