16oz tallboy can poured into Durobar Charente with HF logo.
Pretty cool can art; very "Alice in wonderland". No canned on date.
Appearance: Pale straw yellow body. Massive bone white head that quickly drops down to ring around the glass. Gentile swirl brings back plenty of head. No lacing noted.
Smell: Very zesty. Lots of lemon and lime "Sprite" brand soda notes coming from this beer. herbal notes as well.
Taste: Bready malts and wheat. The sweet meyer lemons are well translated. Lightly spicy coriander also translates well. Perhaps a little orangey sweetness mixes in there too, but its more about that sweet meyer lemon note. Sweettart notes. Finishes like a rustic saison; Wet hay funk and some mineral heavy well water.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied. Moderate carbonation levels. Body of this beer is soft and spritzy. As well as light / soft / gentle carbonation. Very light dryness to the finish. The body of this is really impressively easy drinking.
Overall: Impressive body on this brett beer. Flavors are good. Wish they used a more earthy strain of brett. That would have made for more rustic overall beer that I prefer with most brett beer flavor profiles. Still a really nice beer for sure.
