16oz can. No discernible canning date. Sample from the brewery.
Bright, hazy gold with a massive creamy white head that drops to a thin lace. Big aroma of blood orange and rind with floral and herbal undertones. Super creamy, smooth, and lush on the palate, but also a bit crisp. Juicy, zesty, and bitter with layers of orange, grapefruit, citrus rind, pith, and sharp raspberries. As the beer warms, it gets bit sweeter (but never cloying) with some soft bready malts, oat milk, and suggestions of vanilla (my brain wants there to be). Things dry up in the finish with some herbal and oaty notes in the linger.
As fan of Stanley Kubrick's 1971 masterpiece "A Clockwork Orange," I love the label art that's a direct nod to the movie's poster. Where there was a knife, there's glass of beer. And the eyeball is an orange. Love it. I also love this beer. It's absolutely packed with blood orange, which I also love, and the mouthfeel is bliss. Basically, a hoppy Creamsicle in a can.
On a side note, why hasn't anyone opened up the "Korova Milkshake Beer Bar" yet? C'mon!

16 oz can, no date. Label states, "Blood Orange Milkshake IPA."
Great can art, homage to A Clockwork Orange.
Bountiful white head leaps like Muggsy Bogues, straight up! Slowly settles to a consistent finger high fluff. Turbid, golden, great retention, and clumpy lacing.
Nose pops like an orange cream soda, but less sweet and more pulpy orange. Some wet grainy notes come in, oats?
Flavor is juicy, creamy and lightly sweet. Orange, undertones of grapefruit, oats, and maybe lemongrass chime in as well.
Mouthfeel is medium, a bit pillowy, well carbonated, and finishes with a nice wash of gentle creamy sweetness and some bitterness.
Overall a really tasty ride.
