Malty, with a clean bitterness, and a lime zest aroma from the Wai-iti hops, this beer was made for drinking.

Softly cloudy, pale yellow body fairly dense and spongy head, white and lasting. Lemon sponge cake scent; delicately sweet and pleasingly citrus-like. Bold lemon-like flavor riding over a very mild bed of delicately light malt grains; herbal and a bit herbaceous. Medium body; fairly bold and bright on the palate; rather fizzy; lightly acidic.

Hmmm...an overall unique beer. It's not lager-smooth yet brings some relatively light and bright flavors and feel to the palate. Extraordinary? Nah. Good. Yes. Memorable? Not really, but then, I wouldn't turn it down again.

L:. Pours a brilliance ant golden straw yellow with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.

S:. Fresh baked bread, a soft floral hop, some grain and malt, subtle but inviting.

T:. Fresh baked bread, followed by a touch of lemon and then a strong woody hop bitterness, the hop is very strong in this one.

F:. Smooth lighter body, doesn't feel as crisp as some lagers.

O:. This is a solid beer, I just think the hippiness could be toned down a bit to allow some more balance.
