16 oz can courtesy of FBarber, received in NBS BIF #17.
Pours a deep brown. In the glass it gives off a matte finish appearance. Sandy head is firm at first, tightly packed, and 2 fingers high. As it settles in, the bubbles became larger and looser. Layered lacing aplenty.
Nose is deep brown bread, banana bread, caramel malts, some dark fruity vapors akin to prunes and dates.
Flavor leaps off with straight up, slightly spicy, banana bread. The nuts, the sugars, the spices...all there. As you sip, the smooth sweetness of the malts carry forth a slightly toasted caramel-meets-chocolate-powder note.
Mouthfeel has a warm, non-alcocohol, presence from the spice. Heft is on the lighter side of medium.

Dark mahogany brown, two fingers of tan foam, always be sure to pour the yeast when drinking weizenbock. Drippy halo of lacing.
Aroma of banana bread crusts, rich nutty malt, dried fruit esters.
Supple and creamy, nutty malt and banana bread flavors. Toasted almond and a slight dry bitterness in the afteraste. Medium bodied and supple, easy to drink a few. Pairs well with peanut butter and chocolate, dried fruit and nuts. A delicious beer.

Had on tap. A fun not so little hybrid here. Opaque dark brown pour, huge tan head, bands of lacing abound. Taste has a lot going on, caramel malt quickly before banana nut muffin, wheat and dark fruit, finishing with bubble gum. Nose is light: cocoa dusted caramel malt and wheat with slight oxidation. Feel is smooth medium bodied, cool and finishes heavier than where we began.
