Canned 9/11/24; drank 10/13/24 @ the Yarchives.
Mostly see-through dark orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Autumn leaves, smoked bacon & faint caramel notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Mild caramel & autumn leaf flavors up front; mild smoked bacon notes on the finish.
Nice campfire vibes on this one, but not too smoky. I'd have another.

Had on tap. So much better than the orignal in my humble opinion! Smoke brings out the earthiness of the yeast and the caramel of the malt in the smell and taste. Smooth and fuller than the original, malty backbone is strong and compliments the smoke. Clear brown body with a short lived off-white head

11oz pour at Centennial in Chicago. Terse review on phone.
Dark amber, small head, clear. Smell is mostly campfire, a little nutty. Taste is also campfire, nuts, but a hint of toffee. Mouthfeel is very light and clean. Very nice beer.
