Yields a clear pale golden color with a huge, spongy white head.
Smells of wet roses, fresh cut hay and baked white bread with a subtle note of caramel to it.
Drinks light with a well fitting higher carbonation, revealing a well balanced beer with a nice refreshment during its finish.
Tastes of floral caramel, brioche bread and subtle, yet well recognizable leafy hops, offering a pleasant dry note. Turns a little sweeter then with additional toffee becoming more apparent, while the beer produces a rustic, yet soft and well versed malt backbone among maintaining subtle hops. Finishes with cooked peas, honey and lots of caramel among balancing leaves, leading to a crisp and refreshing finish.
This is a great Helles with just the right amount of complexity to it to showcase an elegant, easy drinking and malt forward beer.

Helles is my favorite style and this one is worth seeking out. It has a unique flavor to it, almost a sort of grassy freshness, that I don't come across very often. I hope to come across this one again in the future.

From the bottle, it pours golden into the glass with a small head (possibly too cold on my part?). A bit of malt in the nose. A great helles flavor that pleases but does not overwhelm. A pleasant bit of hops in the aftertaste. Feels good in the mouth! Enjoyable! Repeatable!

Pours clear and golden with tall, white foam that settles slowly and clings to the glass. Good, malty lager aroma with a slight tanginess. The taste was a good clean lager flavor. Medium hoppy and the hops come through in the finish. The mouthfeel is crisp with medium body and strong carbonation. Relatively clean, but with a light hoppy aftertaste. This is a good helles lager.
