Pours a light golden amber with a slightly off-white normal-sized head. The carbonation lasted a good while, with the head slowly dissipating and lots of lacing remaining behind. Slightly hoppier than one might expect for a Franken Bock, but very enjoyable. I could have had two or three... Note that they proudly portray their hoppiness on the label: Hopfiges Starkbier - Hoppy Strong Beer!

Half litre bottle, paler than other bocks. Slightly hazy, average amount of foam. Grassy hoppy smell. Less malty taste than other bocks. Well balanced bittersweetness with strong hoppy notes and hints of flowers. Nice feel to it, easy to drink, not boozy at all. Very good subtle Bock
