Not sure why it's designated as retired since I just picked this beer up yesterday at a grocery store. This beer is in line with the characteristics expected of this style. Highly carbonated, crisp and low in hops and malt with a hint of a bitter finish. It pours a thin quick receding head and straw gold colot. Cereals dominate the aromas and taste. Not much beyond this except maybe a light citrus touch. Light and refreshing. Not bad.

The brand new Boreale Larger.
The look of it: Damn this beer is light. So much carbonation, my glasse is full of bubbles going up but with no head whats so ever. Again you find that clear yellow golden color
The smell of it: Very hard to smell something of that beer. Smell like a Bud. You have some hops.
The taste of it: Like the look, very light. Some cereal is dominant here. But there is no character on this beer. As a Boreale I find it a bit disappointing. Some sweet on the after taste. For myself I dont find this beer have a dry finish. It definitely have a wet finish to it. Keep on swallowing my saliva after drinking this beer.
So overall would I recommend it? No, I mean this is not a bad beer, but as a lager its a bit disappointing and as a Boreale this is more disappointing. I don t know what they tried to do with a larger but they definitely could do better on this one.

Canned Dec. 6, 2014.
Vibrant yellow body but real thing head and no lacing whatsoever. Crisp feel, bit of lemon taste and some bitter minerals. A nice alternative to macros but needs more flavor to grab your attention.

Can: Poured a bight golden color ale with a medium size pure white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of clean cereal notes is pleasant enough. Taste is mostly dominated by cereal notes with light grainy notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nothing spectacular here but enjoyable nonetheless.
