Served in 16oz goblet. poured a solid black color with about 1/3 inch of tan head that had no retention and no lacing.
The aroma had a solid grain base with solid, but not overpowering, roast on top. No real hop presence.
Similar on the tongue with the roast being stronger, almost coffee-ish, and a bit of hops popping through.
The body was full, maybe a touch lighter than full, smooth, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, an enjoyable pint.
Overall, one of the better brews I've had from here. Probably the beer you should grab if your only having one on your visit.
