Very hazy for the style. Rim bubbles for the head from the bar pour. No lacing. The color is lighter gold, almost straw.
Very good aroma of fully malted pale barley (no graininess). Semisweet berry smell. Almost creamy nose. Low hop.
The berry sweetness shows up on the taste. This is a very good beer but departs from the typical Kölsch flavors--it's sweeter with a maltose taste. The hop is light as expected. The body and carbonation are within norms. Overall, this is a very easy beer to drink. Worthy to order.
