Had this beer today at the brewery after completing the successful purchase of our new (for us) car. Liked it from the first sip and found out later this evening it had won an award today at the Texas Craft Brewers Cup. You don’t see many beers like this on tap around these parts so I was very happy to see it and even more happy it was a great beer!
Poured from draft into a shaker pint. Beautiful golden amber color with a wonderful creamy beige head and excellent curtain lacing. Fruity, caramel smell and taste. Toffee and dark raisins with a nice bitter finish. Satisfying full rich feel. Enjoyed it very much!
