A: Pours a cloudy pale yellow color. A white head forms with good retention and lace left behind.
S: Banana esters and clove up front and center, with a plastic phenolic aroma. Then an odd buttery aroma...Diacetyl maybe?
T: There is just a hint of buttery flavor up front...again maybe Diacetyl, but hard to say. The banana esters and cloves are there, along with that plastic phenolic yeast character. Then become very sugary sweet.
M/O: A medium body and moderate carbonation. Not particularly clean for me, and just eh to come back to.
Maybe the fruity Banana esters are big enough to detract most people from some of the other off flavors I'm getting. For me, a fairly below average example of the style.
