my first from these guys, i super dig the can, and its a nice looking brew, uniformly hazy, pale orange colored, and holding a wispy inch plus of white head, looks great in the glass. the nose is fresh, dry hopped forward, and modern in terms of varietals, definitely the australia new zealand thing, nelson, galaxy, riwaka, rakau, something like that, pineapple, coconut flesh, soft herbal white wine, almost ripe peach, lemon verbena, really sexy in the nose, and shockingly there is neither any drop off in the flavor nor any green bite or burn for how hoppy this is, as it warms a little i get more of a melon thing, definitely that southern hemisphere fruitiness, white tea and elderflower notes, kiwi fruit, gooseberry, and with just a little sweetness that seems to make the hops pop, almost no bitterness, and very little from the grain in terms of flavor, although the body is creamy and gentle and keeps this grounded. i like the clean ferment, the professional texture, and overall quality, and it has me pretty excited about this brewery. well above the average quality for the style, intentional in every way, and super dialed in. loved it!
