i have not had nearly enough fast fashion beers, and i was stoked to find this on the side pull faucet at community pint in spokane, a little hole in the wall bar ive always loved when i am in town there. this is really solid, medium amber colored, chestnut in the low light, with an epic head from this faucet, couple of inches high, airy, enriched looking, permanent. the nose here is nutty and dry, the lager yeast is ancient and european and subtle but distinctive, light pipe tobacco and raisin fruitiness in there, soil and minerals, bran muffin, curing concrete, very tidy and polished, super appealing. the fusion of old world malt and lager yeast here is lovely, this is decidedly czech to me, and has more hops in the flavor than i could smell, grassy and compatible, with enough bitterness to make it crisp for being grain driven. there is a lightness to the whole thing which belies its color. whispers of toffee, maple, dark bread, and even dehydrated red apple. magic texture, nicely lagered, fluffy feeling, light too, easy drinking and entirely satisfying. the quality and the side pull make this, the kind of lager i could drink every single say. neat to collaborate with human robot too, ive liked their lager game in the ones ive had. dont miss this, its fire!

16oz can purchased at Community Pint, in Spokane, Washington.

Dark, chill hazed brown color that took on a rubyish hue when held up to direct light. Massive, beige colored head that was creamy and sudsy looking, leaving all kinds of lace on the sides of the glass.

Dry, biscuity, caramel like notes greeted the workers at my olfactory.

This is a malty lager. Fairly dry tasting, toasty, nutty, with just a little caramel sweetness on the back end before the finish, which is dry and clean.

Body somewhere between light and medium, with a dry, clean mouth feel.

This is perhaps the second beer of this style I've ever had, and the first I've ever reviewed. Having studied up on the hallmarks of the style, I feel like this was a home run for the brewers. Great stuff, hitting the spot after work on a 97° day.
