Homedlygomgomeldly Imperial Stout is an end-of-the-night slow sipper. It is an inside joke between old friends, not crushing beers before a football game, but sharing something around a cozy fire after an evening of catching up. Peanut Butter, Cacao Nibs, and close family.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This nice imperial pours a coal black with a
modest head of tan foam that fades to a thin ring. Nose of dark cocoa, peanut butter,
char, dark breaded malts, and touches of coffee. Flavors surpass the nose with
char, roast, peanut butter, dark cocoa, earthy malts, molasses, and coffee. Mouth
feel is full, smooth, rich, coating, light carbonation, and a bitter malt and char laced
finish dashed with peanut butter.
Overall, a solid imperial!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canning date of September 27, 2022. Purchased at the brewery last weekend. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like peanut butter, chocolate, roasted malt, and a bit of coffee. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some caramel and dark bready flavors too. I think the peanut butter stands out in both the aroma and taste without being overpowering. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. If you like peanut/peanut butter imperial stouts then give this one a try.
