Last call, Louisville. Onward, Indianapolis! And Cincy, Cleveland (where we’ll meet up with ‘the talls’), Ann Arbor, & Detroit, but let’s not rush it. Today has been the good brewery day on the heels of the not so much of that yesterday. And this was a recommendation from the place before this, which was a recommendation from the place before that. Liking that ‘beering it forward’ thing. No, really; good beer knows good beer…
Uber’d and dropped at the squared room on the corner. Composite topped ‘L’ bar with a pieced horizontal board base off to the right. Seating for 11 on affixed orange leather swivel stools with foot ledges in clusters; 5 on the corner, 2 on center, and 4 on the far end. A pair of stainless towers with 8 non-descript black handles each on the bar, and a 4 tap tower split 2 & 2 on the barback counter center over cooler space below. Logo piece on the wall above, shelving racks with boozings over glassware to both sides, and more glassware countered and shelved below the bar. Stupid slushyface machine down on one end.
Tap list on the back wall on black slat boards in 2 rows (Beer, style, serving size, ABV, & cost) on a black wall backing. Brick inner & outer walls + center of the room pillars & frame. Large windows up front, smaller ones on the side wall. Concrete floors, and black rafter & plank ceilings with blended ducts & track spots. Cans lining the I-beams between rooms, front merch & can cooler corner, and a game rack over there (me, pointing).
7 booths on an ‘L’ front & side, + 3 hightops and 6 shorty squares to the rear. Some bar counter space running up to the slight step up stage area with a large neon backing. There are also a few tables out back and more above with bench seating on the upper deck.
18 taps, a good mix; from light and Lager (Neuer Koln, Kolsch, 4.6%; Tucky, American Lager, 4%; Southern Hospitality, Modern Southern Lager, Riverbend Malt House Collab, 4.8%; Velcro Sneakers, Amber Lager, 5%; Oktoberfest, Festbier, 5%), to hoppy (Steep Hill, IPA, 6.5%; Lemon Shakes, Milkshake IPA, 7%; Three Nights Only, TNEIPA, 11%), to sour (Berry Berry Boy, Fruited Sour, 6.5%; Tangerine Tiki Boy, Tiki Sour, 7%; Lemon Parfait Boy, Pastry Sour, 7%; Mango Rita Boy, Fruited Sour, 7%; Raspberry Boy, Fruited Sour, 6.5%; OG Gose, 4%; Watermelon G, Gose, 5.5%; Double Watermelon Lemonade Gose, 5.5%), to Belgian (Stone’s Throw, Grisette, Monnik collab, 5.2%), and Hopwater in the mix, too.
Had a few as I do (Velcro Sneakers, Amber Lager, eh, okay; OG Gose, tart & delicious; Stone’s Throw, Grisette, was tasty and on for style; Southern Hospitality, Modern Southern Lager, crisp, hoppy, pleasant). I’m saying OG Gose for the win and the Stone’s Throw Grisette was a close second.
Out back food truck did what they do. Um… carnitas street tacos and dry rub wings for me, please, and thank you. They were not of the suck. (Evil) Davo went with the chicken street tacos (good) and pimento mac & cheese (really, really good).
Brewery is in the back of the back in another building visible behind panel doors (just in case you wondering from wherest beer comes). Chill crowd this Saturday night. There was a woman wearing a ‘Crush it like Quint’ shirt an hour after I told that Narragansett story, so that was something. Good wind down to a few days in town.

This place is brand spanking new. Visited with Shrubber85. Nicely designed modern space, open, well lit. Flights an option and food is on site. Can't remember the parking situation. Good beer too.

Cool place with old building accents still left in place. Beer selection was plentiful. Seating was also plentiful. Food was available for purchase however I did not.

Visited in the fall of 2022 with my wife. Really nice little find. Their beers are all above average and our server was very knowledgeable on their beers.

Visited for a can release during 'rona season.
Background: Atrium is what happens when a legendary local homebrewer is harrassed into going pro.
So far, so good. Parking might suck if/when we can gather again, but not an issue now. Beers are great -- if they have had issues with scaling up, they are dumping those batches. Food is from a *former* food truck, and the maple bacon donuts were GREAT.
