From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This solid little stout pours a dark blackish brown with a nice head of
khaki / tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports
some nice lacing. Nose of dark coffee, earthy malts, and subtle char
mingling with dark berry hints. Flavors hit the mark with dark coffee,
earthy malt, moderate char and deep roasted goodness, dark berry notes
of blackberry, subtle caramel, light smoke, and faint cream. Mouth feel is
medium, light carbonation, smooth, lightly creamy, and finishing with a
very nice bitter malt finish.
Overall, solid and reminiscent of Elevator's coffee stout from many years ago
when they floated a spent hop flower on the head. Very nice!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned May 1 2023, purchased at the brewery a week or so ago. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around a long time. There's also a decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells mostly like coffee along with some burnt/charred malt and dark chocolate. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some dark bread and earthy flavors noticeable too. As with the aroma, I think the coffee flavor stands out to me. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, definitely recommended if you like coffee stouts!
