16 ounce can, no dating I could find on it but thanks to my friend Denis for getting this one for me! Read online that this was a Norton Commons location exclusive. Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head that stayed around for a little while. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells mostly like milk chocolate along with some cacao nibs, roasted malt and a bit of coffee. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with the addition of a bit of earthiness. The chocolate/cacao flavor stands out to me here. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall stout, worth picking up and it's always a good idea to try and stop at one of the Atrium locations when you're in Louisville.
