From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude! This solid
schwarz pours a dark blackish brown with a moderate head of khaki foam
that settles to a thin ring, thin clumping layer, and shows some light lacing.
Nose of toasted malts, dark breaded malts, bread crust, subtle coffee, and
subtle dark chocolate. Flavors surpass the nose with dark breaded malts
and bread crust, subtle coffee, dark chocolate, subtle anise, and subtle char.
Mouth feel is medium leaning towards medium light, smooth, medium
carbonation, and a balanced roasted finish.
Overall, a stellar schwarzbier for certain.
Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on the can or label. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a very dark brown color with about an inch frothy tan head that stuck around a long time. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, dark chocolate, and some burnt/charred malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some toasted malt and dark bready flavors. Not too sweet, not too bitter tasting. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of soft carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, certainly worth a try if you get the chance!
