Accomplishing a lot in their few short years, Atrium Brewing sets their sights on vacation for their five hundredth beer. Que the steel drums and bring on the tropical fruit, this beer is meant as vacation for the tastebuds.
Pale and hazy golden, Batch 500 hits the class with a creamy pour and a loose and lofty froth. As the scent of citrus, tropical fruit, cream and warming spices also warm the senses, the first sip leans in with sweet cream, fructose and simple syrup. An explosion of fruit bounces off the middle palate with the promised mango, ,pineapple, lim, passionfruit, and guava all wrapped in a cocoon of coconut and cream.
Drinking much more like tropical cocktail than beer, they should also pul a little umbrella in the can so that the eyes can go on that vacation too.
