Once again, getting all the allergens involved, Atrium brewing weeds out the immune compromised with a pastry sour that blends peanut butter and lactose into a a flavor of jelly, candy and sandwiches. They might as well go ahead an somehow add bee stings to the ingredients list.

Pouring a zesty and bubbly neon mauve, Raspberry Peanut Butter & Jelly Boy pops with the zeal of seltzer while teasing the nose with fruity, savory, toasty, nutty deliciousness. With a struggling foam retention, the party-fizzy elixir falls on the nose with a perfumy and sweet jammy scent before plowing ahead with a sugary sweet taste of simple syrup, sweet cream, jam and squeezebox. Balanced with a fairly strong tartness, a citric acidity of lemon, lime and green apple give a sense of palatability while the overcast of peanut butter and raspberry engulf the session.

Fuller for sour ale but never cloying, the taste is actually quite pleasant but is a far cry from most things considered beer.
