Ramping up the holiday for romance, Atrium has us all flying high with the classic flavors of chocolate covered cherries, ...but sour.
Chocolate Covered Cherry Boy pours with a cloudy gold with a twinge of rouge, capped with a creamy white froth. As the scent of red berry and accompanying cider and citrus follow, hints of milk chocolate lurk delicately behind. A kiss of acidity tingles the nose while the first sip of creamy, bready and light pastry sooth the palate. Rising sourness brings along lime, lemon, green apple and white grape just as the strawberry blends right in. A hint of chocolate balances the tartness in a sweet and tart interplay to finish.
Medium bodied, creamy and playful, Atrium's Valentine's Day beer makes for an easy transition from the dessert course to other extra curricular activities.
