12oz can served in a tulip. Pours a translucent yellow-gold, with a fizzy, bight white, three-finger head that quickly disperses into a tight band around the shoulders. Copious tiny bubble are present effervescing in-solution. Nose expresses notes of spice, grape must and cider. Taste consistent with nose; however, flavors are dry and muted. Mouthfeel is light in body with a lively carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, just a super interesting hybrid style .

I can’t believe Origin is already celebrating their 4th anniversary. This seems like a natural next step for them to throw cider into the mix since they excel at the Woven series, a beer/wine hybrid. I have pretty high expectations of this one because of that so I hope it exceeds those

Pours a cloudy pale gold with 2 fingers of creamy white head that slowly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing

The nose presents super bright but there’s a nice earthiness for balance. I’m picking up on aromas of grape must, lime zest, earthy wheat, bready malt, wet hay, lemon verbena, wildflower honey, tannic white wine, and stone

Things are a bit more subtle in taste, leaning into the base Saison and the cider more than the wine. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting earthy wheat, bready malt, honey, apple cider vinegar, straw, grape must, light banana, and grass. The swallow brings notes of apple cider, earthy wheat, crackery malt, lemon zest, white pepper, tannic white wine, wildflower honey, and straw

A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a smooth yet crisp beer. Finishes a tad sticky but dries out quickly

While this doesn’t quite reach the heights of the best of the Woven series, this is still wonderfully executed
