Star God was constructed with 2 different varieties of wheat + oats to create its supportive, loving, and caring mouthfeel. Once we dialed in the velvet we had no choice but to bomb this beer in the whirlpool with Citra and Cashmere. Post fermentation we dumped bags on bags of more Citra, Azzaca, Nelson, and a touch of Simcoe for good measure. This builds aromas and flavors of peach rings, apricot, and a some mandarin. Bow down to the Star God…

Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. snifter elemental (fire) glass
Price: $4.49
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: March 25, 2022
Consumed: March 25, 2022
Misc.: Canned on Feb. 11, 2022
Grabbed a bunch of There Does Not Exist and Burgeon beers, and a few others on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Untappd description was “Star God was constructed with hefty amounts of 2 different kinds of wheat, and oats, to create its supportive, loving, and caring mouthfeel. Once we dialed in the velvet we had no choice but to bomb this beer with Citra, Cashmere, Azzaca, and a touch of Simcoe. This builds aromas and flavors of peach, apricot, and some mandarin. This beer really hit home on the mouthfeel to me - like fruit juice puree. Bow down to the Star God.”
Poured a light golden hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect uneven foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled the Cashmere, Azacca and Citra, but wasn’t getting much Simcoe initially. Also got melon, lime, herbal, mint, peach, apricot and cantaloupe. Didn’t seem the freshest on the nose. Smelled much better from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted about as good as the nose. Once again, probably not as fresh as it could be. In order got Cashmere and Azacca, with a little bit of Citra. Also lime, herbal, mint, melon, cantaloupe, peach, apricot, tangerine rind, hints of mango and black pepper. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This was good but probably not something I’d need to have again. (Overall - 3.75)
