Analog Device 8% abv - Analog Device is a super fluffy hazy double IPA built with enough oats we almost put quaker out of business. The oats, paired with wheat, give this beer a really soft mouthfeel, good body, and great foam. We hopped this beer hot side with way too many pounds of Cashmere, Amarillo, AND a super rad and fruity experimental New Zealand hop variety from the hop gods @freestylehops . This laid the base for a mega dry-hop of Azzaca, Citra, Chinook AND, one of our favorites, Nelson Sauvin. This hop cocktail lends itself to strong aromatics and flavors of passion fruit, red grapefruit zest, gooseberries, a hint of lime leaf, and just a touch of that sauvignon blanc. Analog Device is a really complex beer that keeps you guessing overtime you come back to it. What does your analog device tell you?

Best dIPA I've had so far. Sadly, doesn't appear to be available any longer.

Had Analog Device poured from pint can, no date, gift from and muled to Mississippi by little brother, into nonic pint.

Pours deep hazy-gold with 1-finger near-white head, which dissipates to a persistent film, leaving nice sketchy lace. Aroma initially vegetal and spicy, soon turning juicy, and hugely so: pineapple and other tropical fruits, then some sharp citrus, wine grapes, sweet stone fruits, and a floral flourish finish. Begins with moderate carbonation, hop resin, and mild malts, then some biting hops, balanced by deep citrus, pineapple and pear over sweet malt carrying into biting, citrus peel finish.

Straight-up orange juice off the pour, and delivers all of the promised, hugely varied hop aromas and flavors.
