MittPils is a south German style Pilsner brewed in collaboration with Firestone Walker Brewing Company. This Pilsner is brewed with very soft water to give it a rounded presence on the palate and create subtle and soft bitterness. Heirloom Pilsner malts give the beer a signature straw gold color, malt base and pillowy white foam. Noble German hops, Hallertau Tradition and Mittelfrüh, give herbal aromas of fresh soil and forest air.

Grabbed a bunch of There Does Not Exist and Burgeon beers, and a few others on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Online description was “MittPils is a south German style Pilsner brewed in collaboration with Firestone Walker Brewing Company. Poured a medium yellow clear color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass pretty quickly. Almost perfect layered foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. A great looking beer. (Overall - 4.75)

Smell initially reminded me of a Corona with a lime or lemon in it, only much, much better. Got lemon, lime, pine, grass, hay, chalk, herbal and pilsner malt. Not quite as good from the can. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted about as good as the nose, maybe not as much citrusy notes. In order got lemon zest, lime zest, pine, grass, black pepper, Noble hops, hay, chalk, herbal and pilsner malt. (Taste - 4.25)

Light-to-medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.25)

Really liked this. Even more than I thought I would. (Overall - 4.25)

Pours pale straw gold with a finger of white foam. Nose is sweet corn, bready malts, slight earthy hop and bitter note somewhere near the end. Taste follows suit. Feel is crisp and refreshing. Excellent.
