"CAPS is a hazy IPA built with a base of Pilsner malt, oats and wheat. This opalescent straw base lays the foundation for a HEROIC DOSE of Citra & Galaxy in the whirlpool & 1st dryhop. A second dry hop of Sabro lends a unique coconut(y) character to an already fruit forward aroma. Notes of peach blossom, nectarine skin, guava, lava flows and summer vacation."

I’ve been digging the There Does Not Exist beers I’ve been having from Windmill Farms. This one was a bit older than I’d like it (March 29) but still below my goal of two months. Online description called for “CAPS is a hazy IPA built with a base of Pilsner malt, oats and wheat. Poured a light golden hazy color with 7-to-8 fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled Citra right away but then got the earthy pilsner malt. Also grapefruit, passion fruit, Galaxy, peach, floral, just a touch of the mentioned Sabro and light coconut. Much better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted about as good as the nose. Still a bit earthier than I like my hazy IPAs. Got Citra, grapefruit, earthy pilsner malt, bitter peach skin, passion fruit, Galaxy, floral, lemon, grass, and hints of coconut and Sabro on the backend. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was very good overall but I still felt like I overrated it slightly. (Overall - 3.75)
