Demonus is a vile and horrific WCIPA brewed with a light base of pilsner malt, then hopped at heinous levels with Amarillo, Simcoe, and Riwaka. Post fermentation, we dumped in absolutely destructive amounts of more Simcoe and Amarillo + Citra and Mosaic. The resultant beer is a malevolent mix of pithy tropical fruit with a balanced dankness and some nice bitterness to boot. Simply an evil beer, friends.

14oz pour at Windsor Homebrew.
Pours clear light yellow, some brass, big thick (maybe 1.5 finger) head. Some active carbonation. Smell is west coast bitter pine and grapefruit rind, with a barky background. Taste is right in the same channel, a little bit of a graininess and a bit more of a soft floral sweetness. Aftertaste is a nice balance of resin bitter and honey sweet. Mouthfeel is on the light side, smooth, feels a touch stiller than I'd like. Good beer.
