Take it all in, friends, it’s EXPANSIVITY. Expansivity, our newest HAZY, is built like its other hazy counterparts with copious amounts of pilsner malt, wheat, and oats. This grist provides mile by mile views of pillowy foam and a silky soft mouthfeel. In the whirlpool Expansivity is hopped with two of our favorites; Simcoe and Nelson. These hops lay down a dank dive of tropical fruit, hippie lettuce, and unadulterated southern hemisphere gooseberry. Post fermentation, we gazed past the horizon and dumped in a multitude of bags of Citra, Amarillo, Strata, and more Nelson (just to EXPAND our minds). The combination of these parts yields a opalescent beer that is the perfect blend of that tropical fruit bomb we love in these yeast driven IPAs, as well as an underlying note of Strawberry & Mary Jane to keep you guessing. EXPAND your mind, with EXPANSIVITY!

16oz can, no date.
Pours a murky muted gold with a fluffy white cap that has great retention. Varied and chaotic patterns of solid to wispy lacing.
Nose is a real blend go pineapple, orange juice, herbal spice, some grass and a hint of floral citrus blossom that only hints at the perfume note. Under all of that lies a oaty malt base.
Flavor starts out very different than the nose hinted at. Pop of mango and then a resinous grape meets apricot flavor, like a combo I have never come across. Some mild herbal notes come in on the back along with the pilsner malts and oats.
Somewhat fluffy, but less than I thought by the appearance and the smell, good carbonation level, and finishes mildly juicy in its bitterness.
