At the brewery, in a shaker. Brewery notes say it’s hopped with Simcoe and Nelson Suavin. Pours a dull and slightly dense yellow gold. Little head, and some lacing. All in all, not a bad pint, with some nice notes….the NS brings some interesting gooseberry notes, that the brewery notes suggest. Mouthful is lacking in the bitterness and liveliness fronts and the finish isn’t too dry, which, if you’re going to advertise it as a west coast ipa, is a little disappointing, but, eh. I wouldn’t go out of my way to find it again, but I wouldn’t hide from it either.
