Luce Line Brewery

 

The one and only and first brewery in Plymouth. Lots of space and parking. Has a large bar with seating around. Low and high tables. Room is a big warehouse space. Brewing equipment is visible. Small music stage. Beer selection changes but they usually have 10-12 beers on tap. Lagers, Ales, Porters, Stouts and Sours are and have been part of the program for a while now. They post their brewing schedule on their website. Luce Line has a running club and a bicycle club as the brewery has a trail head connecting it to the Luce Line Trail. It's a 60 mile groomed trail/old railroad track that begins in MPLS and ends in a small town called Cosmos. The history of the old rail line is quite interesting. There are food trucks, pizza and local crafty events. Their beers are very good and I enjoy the Piedmont Pilsner. They're doing a very nice job, are popular in the community and I'm seeing 4 packs of their beers in local retail stores.It's a good, friendly, open and well-lit place to go have some beers.

Located in a light industrial strip building, with lot and street parking. West side patio and a garage door. Large U-shaped bar, surrounded by stools, high tops, and various sized tables. TVs, pinball machines, and a small sound stage. Concrete floors and open industrial ceiling. Brewing equipment is behind a curtain. About twelve beers on tap, mostly IPAs and kettle sours. Slim selection of dark beers. Limited food offerings. Crowler cans to go. Looks like a popular neighborhood spot.
