Striking a delicate balance of mildly bitter Columbus hops and slightly spiced, floral Czech Saaz, this lightly hopped German-style pilsner is as crisp and refreshing as your annual trip to the North Shore.

On tap at brewery and in 16 oz cans. Brewery is 2 miles from my home.
L: Pours a lightly yeasted light gold w steady & large carbo bubbles, a 1/4" white head that recedes quickly to thick skin, well carb'd to end of glass, random scattered lacing.
S: Biscuity/bready, grassy, lightly floral, hay, a bit of ripe fruit.
T: Lightly pale malts, a hint of grains, biscuit, light yeast, gently floral, light citrus zest, slightly metallic, very lightly fruity.
F: Crisp, mainly clean w a slight hint of pale chalkiness, med-light bodied w a fast finish that is not really drying at all.
O: Rings all the bells for its style. It has a nice delicate touch, is gently zesty and has a pleasant taste. Well balanced, easy drinking and crushable for sure. It is excellent in its style.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'CANNED ON: 07/18/22'.
Mostly clear, pale gold colored body. Long lasting white pillowy head. Leaves behind rings of lacing.
Aroma is toasted malt and floral hops.
Taste has the toasted malt and the floral hops, along with some hop spice. Balanced into the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Crisp and mostly clean finish. Very slight metallic note. Excellent carbonation.
Not quite as full flavored as the better choices in this style, but this beer is more than okay.

This is not a delicate flower of a pilsner. A bit aggressive flavor. Almost seems like they used a hard water profile for this beer instead of soft water. All the right flavors are present but each is trying too hard. Maybe it just needed to be lagered longer. Whatever the case, I still like it but it is not a great example of the style.
