L: SRM 1 to 2 Pours deeply hazed whitish gold with a 1/4" eggshell white head that has VG retention, low carbonation, medium sticky random lacing.
S: Citrus fruit, melon, berries, pineapple, sweet malts, grains.
T: Sweet malts, melon, berries, stone fruit, light pineapple, wheat, oats, has background dankness. Full-flavored all around.
F: Smooth heavy-bodied mouthfeel with a plush middle and a medium-long lightly drying finish.
O: This lovely beer is right in line with HIPAs from Decorah, IA. (Toppling Goliath & Pulpit Rock.) It is a powerful tasting and fairly dense feeling beer with smooth and robust fruit tastes and it drinks like an 8% ABV beer. It is outstanding in its style.
