Hosel Rocket is a brand new West Coast style Pilsner with a similar style to Greens Fee. What is a West Coast Pilsner? The easiest explanation is that it’s similar to a European style Pilsner but dry hopped like a West Coast IPA with fruit forward hops. Hosel Rocket starts with a Pilsner malt to create a light and clean malt bill with subtle cracker notes. We hopped it with Mandarina Bavaria hops to add a touch of bitterness, and subtle tangerine and citrus notes. Once fermentation was complete, we dry hopped the beer with American grown El Dorado hops which add notes of watermelon and stone fruit. The final product is a clean and crisp beer with low bitterness and hop aromatics consisting of watermelon, stone fruit, strawberry and tangerine. It drinks easy like a lager but is still hoppy like an IPA.

16 oz can into a Becker.
L: SRM 4 Pours a light straw golden yellow with large steady carbo bubbles, a 3/4" sturdy white head with a cap, good head retention and recedes to medium edge foam, medium-light antique lacing with hints of banding.
S: Gently expressive overall with hints of fruit and caramelized malts with warming.
T: Fairly fruity with notes of tangerine, melon, hard candy, a touch of yeast, a distant bready note, light zest, background stone fruit. It has a fruity linger and is well hopped.
F: Lightly crisp medium to med-light bodied mouthfeel that has a medium length lightly drying finish.
O: Overall very tasty and does justice to some West Coast tastes. Quite refreshing, fruity, and drinks easy. It has lovely yeast & subtle bread notes in the finish and has a bit more taste profile with slight warming. It is excellent in its style.
