Not often that I rate beers, but as a small local brewery, I was not expecting to taste such a beer. It's extremely easy drinking with plenty of great tropical flavors. Some of my favorite beers come from equilibrium and Treehouse , I'm putting this one right up there.

On draught at the brewery. It pours a hazy , dark tangerine color with almost a finger of creamy, bright white head and thick, clinging lacing inside the glass. The nose is highly floral with notes of lite citrus and malt. The taste offers lemon, lime, tangerine, and a solid malty backbone. The hop bitterness (72 IBU) emerges as the glass warms and breaths. Its mouth feel is fairly lite for the gravity with appropriate carbonation, and the 8.2% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, Tropical Dad Joke is a refreshing, local NEIPA with lots of flavor. I understand that it's a local favorite.
