A harmonious combination of the best light beers and raspberry syrup creates a rich drink with a fine wine flavor and summer aroma. The delicate taste of raspberries is elegantly intertwined with barely catchy beer bitter.

500ml can - no English past the name, all Ukrainian on the label, though I suppose the crude drawings of raspberries help.
This quasi-beer pours a clear, very pale straw colour, with two fingers of thin foamy white head, which renders a surprisingly consistent dense web of lace around the glass in its wake. It smells of sugary raspberry puree, fruit leather and summer birthday pie. The taste is sweet raspberry, grape, and cherry candy, slightly tempered by a faint grainy malt character. The carbonation is very soft, the body sweet, doing its best fruit juice imitation. It finishes sweet and clean, as much as that is possible.
The beer component in this instance of 'Beer Mix' offerings from Obolon is the least perceptible of the lot. The tasty, balanced raspberry character quite unsurprisingly overpowers the weaker graininess of the thin premise that proclaims this to be an actual beer.

500ml can poured into pint glass aug13 2010
A pale straw yellow with suspended particles slowly being moved by a few bubbles that produce no head or lace
S lots of raspberry with faint skunky sweet grains
T a little better but more like raspberry juice then anything else, but I do like raspberries and there's a little honey
M feels like a thin beer with enough carbonation to keep it from feeling flat
D you could drink quite a few of these and would feel nothing but after a while you would get board
not bad for a thirst quench under a hot sun but I doubt I'll drink it again
