Clear pale gold, effervescent, with two fingers of dense, yellowed head. Good retention and thick rings of lacing. Corn bread and some light floral herbs in the nose. Similar tasting, with a kiss of mint, and fairly crisp finish. Medium bodied for the style with strong, soft carbonation. Not bad.

This is a very nice example of what is now called an American pilsner. The nose is very characteristic of the pilsner super style with a lot of cracker and breadiness. The flavor is a little bit grainy but not overly so. Moderate bitterness and a fairly light body.
