Not bad. A bit unusual, but fairly pleasant - once you get past its funky smell and a weird Riwaka taste. They do say it's a "modern pilsner". I guess it's an experimental twist.
A nice pale gold color. Quickly receding thin foam.
Not really pilsner-y afaic. But a nice refreshing lager for sure.
It's a one and done for me though. Stick with the original Czech Pilsner and pale lagers

Brewed at von Trapp Brewing, Stowe. VT.
16 ounce can packaged 06/05/24.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch pure white head over a very bright body with some with lacing.
Nose of citrus and slight mint with herbal notes present.
Taste is a bit sweet at first with slight tropical fruit. Citrus and slight pine notes take over in the middle, finishing with slight citrus pith and pine bitterness.
Mouthfeel is good; slightly creamy, with near medium carbonation.
Overall, a quite tasty and rather unique take on a lager and shouldn't be overlooked.
Get it!
Cheers!!
