Choice hops are what make great IPA's. Shape Creation IPA uses a blend of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Strata as character hops. This pair helps the beer to take shape by individually bringing flavor notes that are showcased by the dry finish.

loving having these guys available in idaho now, this is a nice can of beer, strata driven, even at the expense of the other hops, which isnt as striking and unique as it used to seem to me, strata has really proliferated a lot lately, but this is great beer anyway, even if it doesnt present as particularly unique. bright without being perfectly clear, somewhat juicy and not real bitter, kind of a no coast vibe, best of both schools of though on ipa, im cool with that. strata comes with coconut and lemongrass notes, a little papaya and guava tropicality too, nice with the pineapple from the mosaic, and this is fruity enough to almost seem actually fruited, which is cool, just a touch sweet to me in the middle playing into that. some pine as it warms, some weediness, grapefruit, the simcoe i suppose coming out a bit more, but its the strata the runs away with this, almost estery, high tone fruitiness, orange candy, white wine, cut flowers, and a bit of mango too. delicious, if less than perfectly fresh, mid level bitterness at the most, fairly concentrated hop flavor, a light graham cracker thing to the malt that works nicely, and lively sudsy carbonation that makes this feel expansive and swift at the same time. some summery hoppy recall on the swallow, which has been the case with some of their other ipa types ive had, a neat flow, almost like there are two flavor climaxes here. really dig the beers these guys are making!

This is my idea of a "modern" IPA. Bitterness is moderate, but hop flavor is bold and complex. Somehow the familiar Mosaic and Simcoe work together for an intriguing and flavorful experience. Well, enough of the BS, but it IS a delicious hoppy brew. More generic citrus rather than orange. Highly drinkable with a lush mouthfeel. Aromatic with melon, lime peel, and apricot. Funny that this seems so different-- the "soft and smooth" another review notes. From the 16 oz can from the beer store, dated 05/02/2022 on the bottom.

160z can (dated xx/28/21. The date was half on the bottom rim, and half on the the actual can bottom, That machine needs adjusting.)Poured into 16oz teku. Poured a lightly hazy medium gold color with over an inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.
The aroma was hop forward, some mustiness, some citrus, and very light grain.
Similar on the tongue, with some nice grapefruit bitterness on the finish.
The body was medium, smooth over most of the palate (with a bit of coarseness over the last 1/3), and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was fine, I'd have it again.
Overall, a solid enough brew. Worth a shot if you see it.

Slightly hazy unfiltered golden body. Crisp resinous herbal dankness, a bit of grapefruit, sweet caramel and a bit of biscuit. Easy drinking, medium body, good carbonation, fairly mild-medium herbal bitterness on the backend, mild sugar and caramel linger

Just 4 weeks old. Faintly hazy pour, thick head with good lacing. Pine notes and dankness on the nose. Dry taste, crisp and very clean bitterness. Very light on the malt. Mid-range ABV and well managed, no flaws to speak of, a classic " upper left" IPA, not one of dem "upper right" ones.

16 oz. single can from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR.
$4
A crystal clear light orange beer with a nice frothy off white head. Trad.
Nice fresh aromas. Citrus, tangerines, strong floral scents. Nice.
MMM smooth blending of all the hops in the taste..ending with a pleasing smooth bitterness ( if that is a thing).
Mouth feel is good. Strangely for a IPA it has a very soft , smooth thing going on. Which i like a lot.
Very nice drinkable West Coast IPA

Look: Clear golden in color with a pure white head that froths up and holds some before slowly settling, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Pine, citrus fruits, blueberries, Cannabis, passionfruit, guava, and an awesome smelling sweet bready malt underneath it all
Taste: Pine sap, grapefruit, orange, weed, and blueberries hit hard at first and soon followed by waves of tropical fruit salad. Slightly sweet honey-dipped bready malt is present but lets the hops shine throughout. A good hop bite on the end too
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, a little slick, medium-high carbonation, and great bitterness and quite dry on the finish
Overall: This is outstanding. My first beer from these folks and an awesome and well-made WCIPA that literally pushes all my IPA buttons in flavor and aroma – pine, citrus, dank, light berries, mild tropical fruit, and dry with a good bite. I will definitely be grabbing more of this and now am intrigued to try their other offerings as well as this made a great first impression
