Pilsner is the foundation in which we built the brewery upon. In honor of the diverse geology of the Pacific Northwest, Landform Pils features a high quality European Pilsner malt and a blend of Tettnager and Hallertau Tradition hops.

Canned Feb 2021.

A clear light yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. Despite its age, this is intensely hoppy with floral, lemon, earth, mint, mildly soapy with a light straw malt character. The palate opens bitter and earthy, minty lemony, soapy, with a light doughy sweetness. Drying, bitter, earthy, clean, refreshing.

really excellent all day, all season lager from these guys, incredibly well refined, distinct but also traditional, very clean and tidy and seemingly patient on the ferment, and this really hit the mark on a hot summer day for me! a great first impression of foreland indeed! sunny yellow colored brew with nice clarity, visibly high carbonation, and a standard white head that looks right for the style on this. the nose is german to me, slightly dusty european character to the grain, noble hops are evident, herbal and faintly spicy, but quite fresh, while the yeast is bready, doughy rather, tight and clean, some minerals in the mix, light citrus, good proportions, smells dry as bone. the flavor is vibrant and fresh, excellent balance, nice minerality to it and good water chemistry is obvious, this is very professional lager. i like how much character is here from the malt but how dry and light it remains, no baked warmth, no biscuit richness, its flavorful but it stays incredibly pale. there is a light floral thing from the hops that comes on in the middle, and its on the bitter side later and as it warms, a nice way to add a little pop to the finish. the yeast is familiar and simple, classic old world lager to me, beautifully deployed, and its work is very complete in this. subtle clover, wet grass, and wet stone in the finish, i love how earthy and organic this all seems. high quality ingredients, expert attention to detail, and a refreshing pils i want to have stocked in my fridge at all times. great stuff here!

Clear pale golden brew with long-lasting foam in the tall IPA glass. Aroma of straw. Likeable slushy and spritzy mouthfeel. Tastes like biscuits first off, with a browned grain finish. Clean and mellow with a taste of corn. Hints of fruit, fiarly dry, resins in the back of the throat. Hops perk it up with slight bitterness. Combination of Tettnanger and Hallertau Tradition hops. Overall it's a well balanced and likeable quaff. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated but not legible.

Can of unknown age into a pilsner glass. Straw yellow with a hint of chill haze with 3+ fingers of white variable-density head with moderate retention and left limited mixed lacing. Nose is bready and floral. Taste Follows nose well with an additional citrus dimension, finishes with mild bitterness that lingers pleasantly on the palate. Low-medium bodied with medium carbonation, slick on tongue and swallow.

Pleasurable pils, but nothing overly memorable. I'd repeat, but not seek out.

soft... no bite. maybe that's the way they 'crafted' it? i like the bite in mine. maybe it's because the carbonation wilted away too fast?

Very light golden pour, a finger of head, sparkling clear with chains of tiny bubbles coming up. Clean aroma of bread dough. Light and clean flavor. A liter of this in a biergarten on a warm summer afternoon would be the quintessential German experience.

16 oz. can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocers in Salem OR
$3.89
Pours a nice clear light golden colour with a good sized, and lasting, foamy white head.
The aroma seems quite authentic to my nose..crackery malts and some grassy/hay like hops.
Taste is very bitter..maybe too much for a traditional pils. PNW Pils? But its tasty none-the-less.
Mouth feel is right for the style..but has a long lasting bitterness that does not go away.

Overall OK. But i prefer my pils more trad.

Look: Clear golden in color with a spritzy white head that slowly settles to a lid, leaving great lacing on the glass
Aroma: Pilsner malt, floral hops, a little honey, soda crackers, and light grassiness
Taste: A huge punch of flowers and freshly cut grass hit the palate, followed by Pilsner malt and crackers – soda crackers/unsalted Saltines (is that an oxymoron?) or oyster crackers. As soon as the malt starts to fade, a second wave of floral and grassy hops invade and lead to a fairly sharp finish
Mouthfeel: Full but light, medium-high carbonation, very clean and crisp throughout and especially so on the finish along with moderately strong dryness
Overall: This is tasty stuff but I’m not sure it’ll be everyone’s cup of tea as it is quite hoppy, even for a Pilsner. Personally, I dig it. When it makes its presence known, the cracker-led and Pilsner malt is delicious and the feel and carbonation are spot on, in my opinion. This honestly reminds me of several fresh hop Pilsners I’ve had where the hops are extremely prominent, if not dominating, which I love but again, may not be to other’s liking. So far, so good from these folks

Hits the spot. Clear medium golden body. Crisp Pilsner malt, mild floral and herbal bite, clean biscuit. Very well balanced and goes down entirely too easily. Smooth, medium bodied, good carbonation, mild noble hop bitterness.
