An amber lager inspired by those made in former times in the Austrian capital. Kilned malts add layers of flavor, without crossing over into the realm of sweat or roasty.

Pours a clear amber with plenty of foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Spritzy in the mouth. Pleasant malty warmth with a dark, woody finish. Just enough tang to balance the modest sweetness. The aftertaste has a hint of bitterness, like green herbs with a bit of nut skins. Overall, this is another above average Vienna and quite pleasant sipping. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 12/16/21.

Solid Vienna lager. Clear darker amber bodied, baked biscuit and a bit of slightly burnt toast. Light floral and herbal bite, slightly fruity, good carbonation, medium bodied. Clean and malty as expected for the style. Nice floral finish

Beautiful pour, clear, flawlessly clear, a finger of light tan head. Pleasant malty aroma. Lightly hopped and a little sweetness shows up. Clean finish. Our first from this brewer. Can artwork is superbly done; simple and well-done with understated graphics. We're on the lookou for more of this one.

Look: Nearly clear amber in color with a nicely forming, slightly off-white head that settles to a lid and leaves great lacing on the glass
Aroma: Slightly toasted bread, a little melanoidin, cereal grains, some fruity hops, and toffee
Taste: Awesome toffee sprinkled, rich toasty bread is the initial hit with light and fruity hop notes coming in on the tail of that. Raw bread dough and grains come on as the second wave before more rich, bready malt guides things to the finish
Mouthfeel: Full but light feeling, very clean and crisp throughout which holds true on the finish as well
Overall: This is tasty stuff. I’ve been impressed with the first two beers I’ve tried from these folks and this one follows suit as well. A delicious Vienna lager with great bready malt depth and a kiss of fruitiness that adds to the balance and all carried on a beer with a terrific mouthfeel. These folks’ offerings are a little pricey but all three I’ve had have been delicious. Recommended

Well balanced semi sweet taste..honey, toffee and brown sugar. Slight touch of grassy hop in the end.
