Look: Clear amber in color with a sudsy white head that quickly settles to a film, leaving decent lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, wood smoke, smoked barley, a little savory/umami, and light earthy notes
Taste: Smoke-kissed bready malt jumps out right away and develops depth as umami notes trickle in behind and are reminiscent of freshly smoked meat. Light earthy notes are present from time to time and closes with more smoke
Mouthfeel: Light but full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and a crisp and clean finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. I love a good Rauchbier and have been impressed with ForeLand in the past plus recently tried a Level Rauch so it’s cool to see them on the collaboration. Well-made with plenty of smoke but not overdone, nice depth of flavor, and just fun and good to drink in general. Worth the purchase and recommended

A cigar for with a dense off-white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is great, rich, smoky, wet and wood smoke, soft , creamy mildly Vienna malt, mild hop character. The palate opens with a moderate smoke character, sweet and with wet wood, mildly sweet Vienna malt and light bread, honey, a little caramel. Mildly sweet on the finish with nice smoke. Yum.
