A beautiful pour, a clear as glass amber. A finger of tight head which, regretfully fades quickly away. As with most lagers, aroma is light but here you can pick up a whiff of smoke. It's a collaboration with Level Beer, who are known for their smoked beer. Taste is a bit lighter and drier than expected, but is quite nice. They have avoided the heavier and sweeter Marzens you find around Ocktoberfest days. This would be perfect for a light meat and cheese meal on a cool but sunny spring afternoon.
