We’re nearing the end of my ninja BIF box from Snaotheus. I’m not quite sure how I ran my way through my actual BIF box from woemad whichcwas almost twice the size of this one, but I guess it is what it is. I’ve been spoiled with PNW beers for the past few weeks, and it continues tonight. Let’s get into it
Pours a clear yellow gold with 2 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is bright but also quite gentle all things considered. I’m picking up on aromas of crackery malt, wildflower homey, lemon zest, pepper hops, light grass, and apple skin
It’s quite similar in taste, though a touch sweeter. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting crackery malt, while pepper, lemon zest, grassy hops, light honey, and toasted grain. The swallow brings notes of bready malt, lemon zest, straw, white pepper, grassy hops, light apple skin, and wildflower honey
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry with a nice bite
This is nothing amazing, but solid regardless

Canned 12.27.22
I think I have a new top 2 pilsner!
Pours a bright, clear gold with a bright white head that settled into a ring. 4
Subtle tropicals with some sweet hop and malt balance. 4.25
Noble hops, balanced sweetness. I really don't know how to describe it past that, but it's definitely excellent. 4.5
Biting carbo, coating hops and slight bitterness, lingering sweetness as well. 4.25
Overall I find most pilsners well done, this is damn near perfectly mastered. 4.5

Sampling a 16 oz can poured into a .5L dimple mug at cellar temp. The can is date stamped 12/27/2022.
The beer pours a bright clear golden color with a bleached white, frothy head of 1.5 cm. This foam fades to nearly nothing about halfway through the sampling!
Aroma is some crackery malt and a bit of white grape fruitiness that I often get in pilsners. There is a bit of spicy hop note here too. Not boozy, as expected for the lower ABV.
First sip reveals a light body with very fine and gentle carbonation. Texture is very smooth and this beer goes down way to easy.
Flavor is some cracker malt and again white grape, but here it is much sweeter on my palate than I expected from the nose. Beer dries out on the finish and I get spicy hop flavor lingering after each swallow.
This is a decent pils, although I do find it to be on the sweeter side. Enjoyable.
