German Lager that is crisp, earthy, herbal and refreshing. A unique water profile (high sulpahtes) to Dortmund Germany differs this beer from the traditional German Helles by interacting with the malt and hops (Hallertau & Saaz) which heightens the bitterness of the hops and the alkalinity leaving a slight haze.

Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a hazy honey-orange color with 2 fingers of frothy, bright white head and abundant thick, creamy lacing. A very attractive pour. On the nose there are sweet grains, banana, Belgian spicing, earthy notes, and flowery hops. The taste opens with sweet malt balanced by earthy, herbal, hops and a modest peppery bitterness at the finish. The mouth feel is crisp and lite with fairly lively carbonation. It's an easy drinker but the 5.8% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, I first commend Bull n Bear for brewing this style. But I commend them more for offering a well-balanced, easy drinking Lager. Liquid Asset is a great beer that is worth seeking out.
