Subtle fruitiness, delicate malt, and moderate bitterness; this highly attenuated beer is crisp and refreshing. The Noble, Hallertau and Tettnagner hops give gentle notes of sweet, earthy, herbal, and floral. Perle hops add a hint of minty spice to round out this bright (light in color and clear) beer.

Pint on draught at the brewery on release day. Served in a pint glass. It pours a slightly hazy, honey-amber color with a thick, foamy, bright white head and lots of thick, clinging lacing. It's a very attractive draught pour. The smell features lite grains, lemon peel, and nutty caramel brown bread. It became more fragrant as it warmed in the glass. The taste opens with lots of sweet caramel malt. At mid-sip there is tart lemon and perhaps some other citrus. It finishes with nutty, burnt cereal bitterness. The mouth feel offers a nice, thick body for 5.5% ABV, with pleasant/moderate carbonation. As expected, it drinks very easily. Overall, Keogh Plan is well-conceived and executed. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. And kudos to Bull n Bear for brewing this wonderful style of beer!
