A Traditional English IPA style. Vastly different from American IPA's. Fuggle, Challenger and Kent Goldings hops combined with an English yeast give this IPA aromas of herbaceous terroir and petrichor. The origin stories behind this 1700's beer has fallen into rumor and urban legend.

On draught at the brewery. Served in a pint glass. It pours a clear, light amber with rosy hues, and a thin, milk-white head and spotty lacing. The color is pretty. Its nose is rather subdued; mostly nutty toffee. The taste opens with roasty, malty, nutty brown bread. As it warms a bit there is increasing toffee. Minimal bitterness. The flavors open as it breathes and warms in the glass. It's really tasty. The mouthfeel is surprisingly creamy. The carbonation level is low-moderate and I didn't even detect the 7% ABV. It's so easy to drink. Overall, Iron Condor is an excellent rendition of a style we don't see enough of. This is excellent pub-style drinking. Bull n Bear has nailed another obscure style.
