On draught at the brewery. Served in a shaker glass. It pours a dark mahogany with cola hues at the bottom and top of the glass. The head is minimal. The nose offers roasted malt, burnt coffee, dark chocolate, and earthy, charred nuts. It's roasty with nice notes of bakers chocolate, burnt coffee, and earthy char. It's bitter but substantive. It's moderate in body and carbonation and drinks easily at 5.5% ABV. Overall, Private Equity is pleasant and easy-drinking. Kudos to Bull n Bear Brewery for brewing an English Porter.
