When plans to brew an English pub ale lined up with a trip to England, it felt like fate. 
I set out in search of a pub rich in character and history—and found an old gem in Windermere called Hole in T’Wall. Built in 1612 as the New Hall Inn, it later earned its name after a hole was knocked through the brick to pass beer to the blacksmith next door.

Once owned by a champion wrestler in the 1850s and frequented by Charles Dickens, this pub is as beautiful as it is storied. A stained glass window inside became the inspiration for this label.

Other Side is the easy drinker we’d look for in a place like this – it’s 5.3%, amber in colour with notes of caramel and biscuit.
